From Ace of Spades HQ we learn about this ABC “News” blog:

Bidding Over $2M for Dems Anti-Rush Letter

Which ends with this unbelievably inaccurate statement:

No mater what, Democrats are going to make a ton of money for a charity off their political vitriol.

So this ABC “News” “reporter” spins the heck out of this story to make Reid and the Dems look like the heroes instead of the two Republicans actually putting out the cash - Casey and Limbaugh…but wait!  There’s more!

Apparently the original blog article left out such key facts as:

• Limbaugh did not call soldiers opposing the war “phony soldiers” he called people pretending to be soldiers “phony soldiers;”
• It was Limbaugh, not Reid or any other Democrat, who put the letter up for auction on eBay;
• Limbaugh is matching the winning bid;
• Both the winning bid and Rush’s match are going to charity;
• Limbaugh challenged the Dems to also match the winning bid;
• Not one single Dem has taken up Limbaugh’s challenge.

I say “apparently” because most of those facts are now contained in the article which was updated with no mention that it was updated (this is MSM SOP for online articles, in case you didn’t know).  Except they still haven’t added the inconveniently pesky facts that Limbaugh did not call soldiers opposing the war “phony soldiers” he called people pretending to be soldiers “phony soldiers, that Limbaugh challenged the Dems to match the winning bid and that NONE have done so.

How low can ABC go?!

Possibly lower than this…wait!  THERE’S MORE!!

People commenting at the ABC blog are reporting that their comments are being edited and deleted!  Not for profanity or making threats or any such thing…but apparently because ABC doesn’t like what they’re saying.  HOWEVER…I have not been able to verify that through the screen captures that I have.  So, if anyone has any screenshots that will show that comments were altered or deleted please leave a comment, preferably with a link to your screenshot.

 UPDATE:  HA!  Caught ‘em!!  This comment is no longer on the ABC article page:

 It’s no wonder ABC’s ratings are so low - you can’t even report honestly on a story - the Democrats tried to stomp on 1st amendment rights, and you congratulate them for raising funds for a charity. The funds were raised because of an abuse of power - a Democrat abuse of power - but that doesn’t fit your template. Do you take your talking points from Media Matters as well? Or do your reporters only take their cue from Democrats? I thought reporters were to be objective, not mind numbed robots of the left.
