This is Keith Oldermann, reporting on the efforts of the Political Assassination Team at Wonkette-dot-com, who continue their assassination of American ideals, America and Americans, with today’s post asking, “Who Ordered the Execution of NFL/Army Hero Pat Tillman?”

Olberman compliments you on your embedded slur and embedded falsehoods there, in that question, Wonkette writers. For a corporate effort, you make character assassination look easy!

Oldermann notes, however, that the FACTS in the case are quite other than the weak suppositions, unfounded assertions, baseless accusations and petty ankle-biting of which Wonkette are capable.

The facts show that Pat Tillman’s accidental and untimely death was part of an unfortunate series of SNAFUS, coming one after another, as sometimes happens in war zones, yet in this case led to a formal investigation of the Commanding General there, and I quote:

“In a stinging rebuke, Geren said Kensinger “failed to provide proper leadership to the soldiers under his administrative control” when the Army Ranger and former pro football star was killed in 2004.”

But if there’s a chance to ascribe murderous, traitorous, LOW motives to the President of the United States… if there’s a chance, no matter how mean or debased, to slur and slime and belittle the People of the United States for whom he works…

SB 840, a bill that would establish a single-payer healthcare plan for California, finds exciting new ways to bankrupt the state - at the taxpayers’ expense!  But this time, the taxpayers won’t pay JUST in dollars, but in healthcare - when the broad eligibility requirements practically guarantee that the system supports far more than just legal California residents (all emphasis added):

140400. All California residents shall be eligible for the system. Residency shall be based upon physical presence in the state with the intent to reside. The commissioner shall establish standards and a simplified procedure to demonstrate proof of residency.

140401. The commissioner shall establish a procedure to enroll eligible residents and provide each eligible individual with identification that can be used by health care providers to determine eligibility for services.

140402. (a) It is the intent of the Legislature for the system to provide health care coverage to California residents who are temporarily out of the state. The commissioner shall determine eligibility standards for residents temporarily out of state for longer than 90 days who intend to return and reside in California and for nonresidents temporarily employed in California.

 So… illegal aliens are covered…anyone who moves to the state is covered as long as they “intend” to stay…IDs will be provided for those who don’t have them (now why, WHY wouldn’t someone have proper ID???)…and seasonal workers will be covered.  All at the expense of California taxpayers, who will also have to compete with all these people for the available healthcare.  Sure, it would be great if there were more than enough medical doctors and facilities to go around but how likely is that under a government-run system?

I agree that the healthcare system in this country is broken - held hostage by insurance company bureaucrats - but another government bureaucracy is NOT the answer!

Is this America or Iran?

We here at I Call BS! don’t like to indulge in hate, hatred, blaming or fault-finding.

But IF someone were to ask us about hate, this is how we could answer: (hat tip Goodbye Natalie):

Hate is too strong a word, too negative an emotion, but looked at like this, it shows our disdain for the negative, self-indulgent and lazy traits that all too many humans exhibit today, and which keep so many of us trapped in a miasma and quagmire of accusations, time-consuming explanations and clarifications when hit with public but baseless accusations!
